CEOs in Schools Event Day:
The county-wide volunteer day took place on Nov. 1, 2024, however, it is not too late to match with a school! Available schools can be reserved below. Once matched, you may work with your Principal to schedule a date that works for you to spend the day at your reserved school.
What’s the Agenda for the Day?
The plan for the day is up to the CEO and principal. Meeting (virtually or in person) prior to the event will help you both determine opportunities and challenges at the school, and what to plan for the day of volunteering. Some ideas include greeting students as they come in, attending planning meetings, serving lunches, teaching classes, planning curriculum, leading a game at recess, spending time with the resource officer, meeting with the guidance counselor, or anything that includes engaging in daily activities at the school. Volunteering in-person or virtually will be determined individually by schools, CEO participants and current status of any health concerns. Safety is top priority.
